Chiringuito Briss Formentera: Opening Date

Chiringuito Briss was the fourth of the new beach bars in Formentera to open and kick off the summer season of 2024, replacing the Kiosko Sa Beuradeta. It is now located on the same beach, next to the wooden walkway, unlike the previous operator, which was situated on the dune and among the surrounding vegetation. Since July 24, 2024, and at least until the end of 2030, this new beach bar will provide food, drinks, and music to those who choose to enjoy this part of Es Pujols beach.

The construction of Kiosko Briss stands out due to its use of thin wooden logs that completely cover its exterior walls, giving it a very different aesthetic from the other beach bars in Formentera. Chiringuito Briss at Es Pujols beach features a spacious bar area and large windows that allow guests to continue enjoying views of the beach, the sea, and Ibiza on the horizon.

Like the other new kiosks in Formentera, Kiosko Briss covers an area of 60 square meters, including the work area, a shaded covered terrace, and a semi-covered terrace with 6 low tables and their respective chairs, as well as several stools at two large bars that separate the terrace from the beach.

How to get to Chiringuito Briss?

To get to Kiosko Briss, follow these simple directions:

1. Arrive in the town of Es Pujols by following the signs, depending on where you start your route.
2. If you’re looking for free parking for your car or motorcycle, we recommend trying the parking lot in the eastern part of Es Pujols. You can access it by clicking the following Google Maps link.
3. Head towards the sea until you find the Es Pujols promenade and the beach access.
4. Walk along the wooden walkway that veers right as you face the sea.
5. After about 150 meters, you’ll find Chiringuito Briss.

Opening Hours at Chiringuito Briss

Chiringuito Briss will open its doors every day during the summer, from Monday to Sunday, approximately from 10:00 AM until sunset. You can enjoy this beach bar on Es Pujols beach from early in the morning until the last rays of sunshine disappear on the horizon, with an additional margin of about 30 minutes after this magical moment of the day in Formentera.

During the winter months, the Briss beach bar opens from Friday to Sunday, as well as on public holidays, from 11:00 until sunset. It must remain closed for one month a year between January and March.
