Gastronomic Weeks – Menus at €25
Formentera, 6 May 2025
With the aim of boosting the local economy and attracting both residents and visitors during the low season, the Formentera business association (PIMEF) and the Island Council’s Tourism Promotion Office have launched a new edition of Formentera’s Gastronomic Weeks, to be held from 12th to 25th May.
This initiative seeks to offer added value during a time when tourism hasn’t yet peaked, encouraging restaurants to open and visitors to enjoy the island in a more peaceful setting.
A total of fifteen restaurants on the island have joined this initiative, committed to promoting local cuisine. Each will present a menu specially created for the occasion, based on traditional recipes reimagined with creativity and prepared with fresh, locally sourced products. The initiative not only highlights the island’s gastronomic appeal, but also showcases the work of local producers.
The menus, available throughout the two weeks, are priced at a fixed rate of €25 (drinks not included). Diners can choose from restaurants participating in the first week, the second, or both, depending on each establishment’s decision.
You can check the names and proposals of the fifteen restaurants taking part in this edition of Formentera’s Gastronomic Weeks. By clicking on each restaurant’s name, you can view the menu they are offering.

The most-voted restaurant will receive €1,500, and the runner-up, €1,000.
A great excuse to try more than one menu and support your favourite.

I discovered the island in 1972 when my parents, aboard the mythical Joven Dolores, took me on vacation from Ibiza for the first time, and it was love at first sight that has only grown stronger over time, making Formentera my place of residence for many years now.
