How to get to Levante (Llevant) beach
By car or motorbike: two car parks.
Main car park, shared with Ses Illetes. It is the bigger one. You reach it along the same road and through the same Natural Park control barrier as Ses Illetes. When it fills up, the car park attendants direct vehicles to the areas that are still free: if you want a particular beach, make sure you are not sent to the other one, because they are very different.
Car park in the south, smaller. There is a second, smaller car park that leaves you in the southern part of the beach. Many people do not know about it. It is on the road from es Pujols to la Savina: coming from es Pujols, the junction is on the right (on the left if you come from la Savina), with a “Platja de Llevant” sign. Take the turning and follow the dirt track beside the pond, without turning off, until you reach the car park’s access control booth: about 600 metres. The track is in good condition for any vehicle, but it is narrow and has poor visibility on some bends, so drive slowly. Follow the staff’s instructions and leave your car or motorbike only where they tell you. Because it is small, it fills up quickly in high summer: if you want to use it, arrive early.

Both car parks have the same hours and prices as the other access points to the Natural Park. You will find them in our parking guide.
By bus. The same buses that go to the main car park at Ses Illetes: the tourist line L3, which leaves from the port of La Savina and reaches Platja Illetes in about 15 minutes, and the L7, for those staying in Migjorn or es Pujols. Up-to-date timetables and prices at busformentera.com.
By taxi. The most common taxi ranks are in the port of La Savina, in es Pujols and in Sant Francesc. If you are not near any of them, the most practical thing is to call Radio Taxi (971 32 23 42) and arrange a pick-up. In high season you may have to wait.
On foot or by bike. Access is free and unlimited. If you are in es Pujols, you can walk along the coast: first past Ses Canyes beach, then Sa Roqueta beach, and finally on to Levante. It is a long walk, but it may help you find your own dream spot on Formentera’s coast.
